This position is for someone looking to become a team member at a world-renowned glass lighting manufacturing facility in Beacon NY.  We are looking for an experienced glass blower looking to hone their glass working skills in a production setting. You should have at least 2 years of experience in a hot shop setting, a general knowledge of terms and glass blowing equipment. We are looking for someone who is a self-starter, welcomes new ideas, can take directions from the team leader and who works well with others in a team environment. 

Salary: $17.00 - $20.00 / Hour

You should have at least 2 years of experience in a hot shop setting, a general knowledge of terms and glass blowing equipment.  The perfect candidate is self-motivated, responsible, good with their hands and works well with others in a team environment and production structure.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Gaffer assist for hand finished work
• Bubble start for standard production (clear + color)
• Gathering for hand-blown production
• Upon request, willing and able to help troubleshoot on all issues of Hot Shop production
• Ability to gather 10-14 block consistently
• Ability to overlay consistently
• Participating in charge schedule
• General hot shop cleaning
• Some data entry required
